This notice explains how Dev Team Solutions Limited (“we”, “us”) uses personal data collected through this website, www.pupildb.com. It covers the website only. How we handle pupil and staff data inside the PupilDB product is set out in our customer agreements.

Who we are

Dev Team Solutions Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy using our contact form.

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry or book a demo, we collect:

  • your name and email address
  • your organisation’s name (optional), type, approximate size and country
  • anything you choose to tell us in your message

We use this to reply to you, arrange a demo, and understand which kinds of organisations are interested in PupilDB and what features they need. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and developing our product. Please don’t include information about individual pupils in your message.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting and spam protection (Turnstile)
  • Twilio SendGrid: delivering your enquiry to us by email
  • Google: website analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies)

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We never sell your data.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read most. It only sets cookies after you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you decline, the site works exactly the same. We don’t use advertising cookies, and advertising features in Google Analytics are switched off. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case our customer agreement applies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Use our contact form and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
