Does PupilDB use the DfE attendance codes?

Not yet. Today you record present or an absence reason from your own list, with notes. Statutory attendance code sets (DfE and Welsh) are on our roadmap.

What happens if someone forgets to take a register?

PupilDB sends a reminder email listing each unfinished register, with the teacher, lesson, time, centre and pupil, so it gets done the same day.

Can we report attendance against funded hours?

Yes. The attendance report compares hours attended with each pupil’s entitled hours for any date range, and can be filtered by funding type.
